The new four-year training, Sussex 12, takes place in the historic town of Lewes set in the South Downs National Park, and is scheduled to start in the spring of 2022.
Our trainings are unique in that they have:
- Eight and four day segments, organised over East Sussex school holidays and weekends
- A small training group, limited to 30 students
- Easy access from London and Gatwick Airport
The Feldenkrais trainings meet for 40 days per training year, for four years. This training will be accredited by the European Training Accreditation Board and upon graduation the qualification to teach the Feldenkrais Method of Awareness Through Movement and Functional Integration, will be recognized internationally.
Throughout 2021 we will be running a number of Three Day Introductory Courses to Sussex 12.
If you are interested in training to become a teacher of the Feldenkrais Method, the Three Day Course is designed for you to experience the Method in greater depth and introduce you to the training process.
Garet Newell, our Principal Trainer and Educational Director, offers Three-Day courses as a special opportunity to experience both Awareness Through Movement and Functional Integration, to view archived filmed material of the Method and to have time to ask your questions about the training. This unique approach has a wide range of applications, which you will begin to appreciate over these three days.
Attendance at a Three-Day Course is the first step of the application process.
We are pleased to now have a dates for the first course on:
Saturday 29th – Monday 31st (BH) May 2021 at Adastra Hall, Hassocks, West Sussex, BN6 8QH
